Spectral and dynamical properties of aperiodic quantum walks

Abstract: Quantum walks are quantum mechanical analogues of classical random walks. We will discuss the case of one-dimensional walks in which the quantum coins are modulated by an aperiodic sequence, with an emphasis on almost-periodic models.
